1992 Audi 100 CS quattro: manual transmission    . . . . .   100% Useful Rating
I purchased my 1992 Audi 100 Quattro 5 years ago. It had a previous "fender bender", which I later fixed, and I
purchased it for 1300 dollars. . . It had 220,000 miles on it. Now, it has 267,000 miles and it drives really well. The
only real issue is that it does leak and burn some oil. Not tons, but somewhere in the neighborhood of a quart or 2
between oil changes. But hey, a car that has 200,000+ miles, leaky oil is a trade-off that I'm willing to accept. I've
heard time and again that leaky oil is common on older Audi and Volkswagen models. The car itself has held up
phenomenally since it was purchased in 1991. The interior is still very, very new looking. The four wheel drive is
great. Acceleration is OK. Braking is good. Overall ride comfort of the suspension, which is all origional, is
still very, very good. I did have a heater that went out once, that was about 300 bucks. I have also had a window
regulator go out, 200 bucks. I had the brake lines replaced due to leaks, that was only 100 bucks or so. This is all
the problems I've had in the last 5 years. This car is great to me. I love it.
