Question: I have a 1989 Chevy K1500, every night i switch to my headli

I have a 1989 Chevy K1500, every night i switch to my headlight but neither my dash or my taillights light up. but my brake lights work just fine along with the head lights...What could be the problem of this?

Odds are the dash aint the problem... In my experience when one goes it is a regular occurance for them all to go.... The tail lights not lighting up... start at the fuse block either underhood or driver's side kick panel... possibly even in the glove box... check to make sure the tail light fuse isn't blown... if it is well there's your problem... if not break out the handy dandy voltmeter and make sure you've got a 12vdc goin to it... if not work your way to the battery if so work your way to the tail lights..... as far as the dash i could be wrong, If it turns out I am.... well then the average gps says how fast u r goin... lol.... good luck
